We set out last night at 11.21pm, and were supposed to sleep in the bus while heading towards Kedah, but the bus stopped every now and then - from one hour to the next, and interrupted my piggy sleep a few times until I decided that I should just give up sleeping -.-
We had breakfast at a place in the middle of nowhere and the Ramly burger my sister and I had was awesomely awful. It was the worst Ramly burger we had ever tasted.
We finally reached this morning at I wasn't sure what's the exact time, and went to the hall of SM Teknik where the competition will be held for rehearsal before we had a lunch of meat. Lunch of meat? You should be able to guess, gu lu yok, lemon chicken, steamed fish, gong bao fish, sweet and sour chicken...... and only a dish of vegetable. What's worse, the meat are not tender at all T.T
We checked into the hotel and I really really had a hard time trying to put them to nap, arghh. They just can't keep still!! We rehearsed again after the unsuccessful napping time and went to a saloon to have their hair tied up.
So, dinner was at the same place, the kids just railed "蛤又是这里!", so I persuaded them, "你们要假假很开心, 就像我现在这样!!" T.T
Another hard time of hushing them and sending them off to bed. Lol. Just tucked them in and now, I'm gonna have a rest. Tomorrow's the national level competition! Hope that God's favour will rest on us. :)

It takes some time to gather myself to stand on my feet. The mere thought of being rejected can set me off in tears. But seeing others who are in the same situation with me upset and disappointed, I chose to voice out what I might otherwise thought shameful to tell, so that I may at least encourage them as someone who shares the same feelings with them. After all, I always have my tower of refuge behind me :) It's also partly because I'm flooded with questions lately that I decided to say it out once and for all, or else I might drown answering "No I'm not accepted.", "I don't know." and "Don't worry, I'm fine."
On the first day the news broke to me, I cried. As I looked up in tears, the words "In life, what sometimes appears to be the end is really a new beginning."
The next day, I decided for some fresh air outdoors, though I failed to get fresh air because all I got was breathing in chunks of smoke in Tasik Y, lol. I was jogging when someone ran past me, on his shirt there was the word "Miracle 11". Right. Following behind was another man bringing the word "Amen 18" into my sight. Fine, I smiled~
My life, my strength, my hope are all in God. I'll trust Him for the best :)

A Council of Dads
I was reading this article, "A Council of Dads". It's about a request made by a father, who is believed to be dying, to a few of his close friends whom he trusts to be his voice in raising his twin daughters when he's not around.
In his letter to his daughters, there is one thing that really struck me into tears. It goes like this:
'A few weeks after you were born, we held a party to introduce you to our friends. I gave a short toast. My closing wish was "May your first word be adventure and your last word love." I can report that the first half of that wish came true. The second half - "May your last word be love" - is up to you. And if I've learnt anything from my illness, it's that we never know when our last word may come. So I beg of you: be awash in love everyday."

Action Song 2012 State Level - Champion chain
And so, the state level action song competition came to an end with our team emerging as the champion! :)
We didn't make much changes, we were short of time. We added in Iban traditional dance, with little Jia Xin as Iban girl :D
Well it did took some time for them to master the Iban dance, as they did when they tried different movements of Zapin. All traditional dances of the different races are different: in nature, in body language, in anyway in almost every way. Gentle and meek for one; hot and explosive the other; swift and elegant yet another...... Different "texture" I would say, and it wasn't easy for them to pick up.
The judges enjoyed the last song - We Are Young, guess that might be the first time they listened to that song. The senior assistant of Ai Chun 2 was as enticed, when the kids performed one day before the competition, which was Teacher's Day. My mum said she stood up when she heard the songs, cool~ And then there's another teacher whose heart was caught by the second song - We Are One. Good combination of song, inspiration comes when we work as one family :D
I was so so touched to see them performing their best on stage! They may be mischievous, noisy and much of a nuisance during practice, and handling them was no mean feat, but they always give their best when the spotlight is on them. Children do need proper attention, don't they?
The kids rushed to me to ask if they did okay, I smiled and gave them recognition :) They deserved it.
Team No.9 was a strong opponent, their performance made me worried. The props they prepared, the costume they wore, they were good. Lost half of my appetite after that T.T But then the other half of my appetite that remained was enough for me to finish a packet of chicken rice, HAHA! XD
Jia Jia kept asking me about my cross necklace, as I'd told her before that my God comes with power when I wore that. I didn't know it meant so much to her. X) She didn't want to go home without the champion, as she said, "不要给Rhoda姐姐骂我!" (My sister told them not to come back without the champion XD) So I told her to pray with me, and she did!
Tension was building up in the hall. We were so nervous when the results were finally announced, my mum literally had her hands cramped!! Well not surprising, my mum put in a lot of effort - Looked for tailors to sew the dresses, searched high and low for the traditional costumes, sat in front of the PC night after night to observe the traditional dances. That's a whole load I know, because I was "assistant manager" who worked alongside my mum with whatever I mentioned above, lol. XD
Well, God granted us the championship, so this glory belongs to Him! :D
God will be with us till the end! =)

Action Song 2012 District Level - Number one
Ai Chun 2 and Chern Hwa represented SJK to fight with SK for the champion today. The competition was at SK Seri Gading.
It was a breathtaking moment while waiting for the results to be announced. Thankfully we didn't wait as long as the last time because each competition was held at different classrooms. It was like De Javu after they announced the 2nd and 1st runner-ups, there was another school which we thought might at least be in the top three but neither fall on the 3rd place nor the 2nd place.
But yes! We are the champion!! Thank God for that! An ang moh complimented our performance, and said he'll see us next week, astounded by his friendliness :)
Our trip to KL to get these traditional costumes is not wasted, pheww! The Kadazan costume was sewed by Aunty Mary, great piece of work! :D

Foundation Finale!
FINAL results for my FINAL semester of foundation is FINALLY out, hahaha.
I did well, though not perfect, in this semester. I thank God for that and I'm satisfied. :) Susin actually messaged me to ask me about my results, and seeing that I didn't reply instantly, she and Wan Yi were worried. Lol such cute friends, where to find? Even if I didn't do well, I guess I won't have any regrets.
I saw a friend's status on Facebook just now, "Don't get too upset over small things, cause you don't know what will happen next. Appreciate what you have, not complain about what you do not have." Exactly what I was thinking about earlier on this evening, hehe.
If study is all my life, I will target for straight A+, and I will feel down if I fail to achieve so. Study is just part of my life, not all. Apart from that, I have so much more in my life. I have music, I have dramas to watch (步步惊心! XD), I have something worth working on (Action Song :P ), I have dates to lateh with my friends, I have my family by my side. There's so much things in life to be thankful for that I really don't want to spend a single moment of it grieving over minute matters. Hahaha~
Friends, let's move on together, there's still a long way ahead of us, we're all in this together! Cheers!! :D

There's my #1 favoured male character-
Brave, understanding, loyal, and treats all his brothers fairly well.
#2 favoured-
Faithful, courageous, loves his parents, and keeps his feelings to himself.
Under the umbrella, #3 favoured-
Helpful, understanding, smart, gentle, and showed concern even though they broke up.
Friends, let's move on together, there's still a long way ahead of us, we're all in this together! Cheers!! :D
